One
of our newer customers asked Robin Nobles of The Academy of Web
Specialists about our software, here is her reply...
Carl,
Of course
I remember you! I'm delighted to hear from you! It's been a while.
When the Academy
decided to purchase cloaking software, there was no question in
our minds which one to purchase--IP Delivery was it. Why? Because
John Heard is behind that software, and the man knows what he's
doing. It's as simple as that.
Yes, the software
may be a bit more expensive than some of the others on the market.
But it's well worth the money. The true value (the real "gold")
is in the updates to the program. John stays on top of that better
than anyone in the industry. If the engines react differently
in any manner, John knows, almost before they do!
With cloaking,
as you know, if you don't keep up with when the engines change
their spiders' IP addresses, the software is useless. With IP
Delivery, you can sit back and let John do the work. :) He'll
be the first to let you know, and he takes the headache out of
it for his clients.
Plus, he's
so darn good at answering questions and making sure that everything
is set up and operating as it should be. To me, that customer
support is crucial. The latest version is fantastic and very easy
to use.
If you want
"state of the art," then you want IP Delivery -- and you want
to work with John. None of the others can compare.
Yes, all
of your listed advantages are correct. I honestly can't think
of any disadvantages.
The bottom
line is, in this business, we often work with pages that are impossible
to obtain top rankings for. They may be dynamically generated,
or they may be in frames or riddled with JavaScript. Or, you may
even work with a client who tells you to optimize their website,
but you can't change a single thing on the site! Yeah, it happens.
They've spent literally thousands of dollars on having their site
created, yet it can't get found in any of the search engines because
of the strategies employed that are detrimental to search engine
rankings.
Your choice?
Cloaking.
Sure, you
could manually set up doorway pages, but you'd still be using
certain techniques that could present problems in the rankings.
In high competitive areas, you want every advantage you can get.
With cloaking, you create engine-specific pages that the engines
love -- simple, text pages with no frames, tables, java, dynamic
HTML, or anything else. Those pages wouldn't be very impressive
to visitors, but the engines will love them.
Plus, if you've
never created cloaked pages, you don't know what you're missing!
You're not worried about visitors seeing them--so "design" isn't
an issue, which is wonderful for a non-designer like me! It's
so much easier to work with cloaked pages, and so much quicker.
Anyway, if
you have any other questions, let me know. And, be sure to keep
me informed about your business! I'm delighted to hear that you're
in business for yourself now. It's exciting (but yes, gray hair
does multiple faster). ;)
